Messaging & Community
Connect your Delphi to Slack so people can chat with it where they already work.
What it is
A guided setup to add Delphi to Slack from Integrations → Messaging & Community so your workspace can interact with your Delphi directly in channels or DMs.
Why it matters
Meet users in Slack: Let questions happen without leaving the workspace.
Lower friction: Faster, in‑context help in channels or DMs.
Stay in control: Configure behavior (purpose, length, creativity, citations, no‑answer message) per embed.
Quick Start
Request access: Integrations → Messaging & Community → Slack → request access.
Team will review and accept to finish setup.
Connect workspace: Integrations → Slack → Connect workspace and authorize.
Edit later: Integrations → Slack → ⋯ (three dots) → Edit to adjust settings.
Configure behavior (per‑embed)
Go to Integrations → Slack → Configurations to customize how Delphi behaves in Slack:
Purpose — the outcome your Delphi aims for in this embed.
Response Length — set default depth (e.g., concise vs. explanatory).
Creativity — choose Strict / Adaptive / Creative.
Citations — show or hide sources.
Message on No Answer — set the fallback text when data is missing (Strict/Adaptive).
What it can do
Your Delphi can join channels where users can then @ your Delphi and converse with it.
This allows your team to interact with your Delphi while you are out of office, in meetings, or even at work.
Manage connection
Disconnect anytime from Integrations → Slack → Details.
Reconnect later from the same place.
