Editing Live Actions
Pause, edit, or retire live Actions without disrupting existing automations.
Overview
A live Action keeps firing until you say otherwise. Your three core controls are:
Edit
Copy tweaks, trigger changes, schedule updates
New settings apply instantly to all future executions
Disable
Temporary pause during campaigns, bug fixes, or downtime
Status dot turns red; flow stops but stays on the dashboard
Enable
Bring a disabled flow back online
Status dot flips back to green; flow resumes
Delete
Retire an Action forever
Flow and history are removed; cannot be undone
Edit any of your live actions from the Actions Dashboard.
Why it matters
Operational control - Pause flows during launches or fixes without deleting them.
Clarity - Clean up deprecated flows so the team sees only what’s active.
How to edit live Actions
Open the Actions dashboard. Each flow appears as a card with a colored status dot (green = active, red = disabled, grey = never run).
Disable / Pause - On the card, click the ⋯ menu in the top right of the flow component → Disable Flow. The status dot turns red; the Action won’t fire until re‑enabled.
Re‑enable - Click the same ⋯ menu in the top right of the flow component→ Enable Flow. The dot flips back to green and the Action resumes.
Delete - Click ⋯ → Delete Flow. The Action and its data are removed permanently - this cannot be undone.
