Website Embed
Place your Delphi on any approved site with one snippet, match your brand and control who can interact.
What it is
The Website Integration lets you embed your Delphi on approved domains using a single code snippet. Choose how it appears, Profile, Chat, or Voice, then tune branding and access so the experience fits your site and your rules.
Configuration:
1) Add allowed domain
In Integrations → Add your own website.
2) Choose your own website, or launch a standalone webpage
Embed on your own existing website
Add your domain
Pick default view
Profile — Image, name, headline, and tappable suggested questions.
Chat — Opens straight to chat; suggested questions move to a dropdown.
Launch a standalone page
connect your domain
Add DNS records
The default page shown will be the profile page with text, call and suggested questions. (unless voice is turned off)
To edit standalone page, return to integrations -> website integrations -> click three dots to edit
3) Customize Website Integration:
Require user email before the conversation begins if preferred.
Enforce your usage limits already configured to your Delphi or allow unlimited usage.
Select brand color, set initial message, toggle hide Delphi branding, and show suggested questions.
4) Choose an embed type (choose your own website)
Full‑size embed — Copy HTML/JS, Next.js, or iframe and paste into a page section.
Chat bubble — Floating bubble in the bottom‑right (opens the chat). Iframe not supported; use HTML/JS or Next.js.
5) Copy & paste the code
Insert the snippet in a code block on your site builder and publish.
6) To edit further
Got to integrations -> website integration -> edit configuration, style, or behavior
7) Final checks
Open an incognito window and confirm the embed loads and responds.
Style:
What you can customize
Colors (Scaler & Unlimited): Pick any hex value; buttons, links, and accents update instantly.
Hide Delphi logo (Scaler & Unlimited): Toggle On to remove the logo from the embed.
Require user email: Force sign‑in with email; otherwise visitors use the Anonymous limits you set in Access Groups.
Show suggested questions: Display or hide suggested questions beneath the chat.
Best practice: Place the embed where traffic is highest (homepage hero, sidebar, or key landing pages) to boost engagement.
Behavior:
Customize the experience
Open Integrations → Website Integration → Customize:
Adjust colors with the picker or by hex code.
Flip switches for logo, email collection, and suggested questions.
Edit the behavior of the specific embed (purpose, response length, and creativity, citations, message no answer)
Tip: If you disable Require email, use your site analytics (or other tracking) to measure engagement—anonymous visitors won’t appear with user‑level data.
FAQs
How do I embed without coding from scratch? Use the provided HTML/JS, Next.js, or iframe snippet (bubble requires HTML/JS or Next.js).
Where do I whitelist domains? In Website Integration → Allowed domains. Blocking on a subdomain usually means it isn’t whitelisted yet.
Profile vs Chat vs Voice—what’s the difference? Profile shows your card + starters; Chat opens directly to the first message; Voice shows Start Call only.
Can I add a floating chat bubble? Yes—choose Chat bubble (HTML/JS or Next.js only).
Can I point to my custom domain? Yes on Scaler & Unlimited—set it up under Add Domain and complete DNS.
How do I force email before chatting? Toggle Require user email in Customize.
Can I embed more than one Delphi on the same page? No, you cannot embed more than one Delphi on the same page.
Will the embed slow down my site? Your Delphi embed should not slow down your site. The script is lightweight and loads asynchronously, so page speed impact is minimal.
Can I update the embed after it’s live? Yes, you can update the embed after it's live. Any changes you make in Studio (colors, display mode, questions) update instantly without re‑pasting code.
Can my Delphi be embedded on any website? Yes, your Delphi can be embedded on any website. Of course, you need to check with your website hosting service (i.e., squarespace, wix, etc.) to make sure they have code blocks. Most websites have a way to accommodate one of the three code chunks we offer: HTML/JS, Next.js, or iframe snippets.
Troubleshooting
Embed blocked on a subdomain — Add that subdomain to Allowed domains, save, then refresh.
Bubble not appearing — Ensure you used HTML/JS or Next.js (bubble doesn’t work with iframe).
Colors/logo not changing — Verify plan (Scaler & Unlimited) and that you saved changes in Customize.
Anonymous limits not respected — Set limits in Access Groups; Require email if you need user‑level continuity.
