Overview

Reach everyone, or the exact segment, via Email, SMS or WhatsApp. Upsell, nurture community, nudge events and memberships.

Who can Broadcast

Email broadcasting is available to the Scaler plan, and is an excellent way to keep your audience informed and engaged.

SMS and WhatsApp broadcasting are exclusive to Immortal plan customers, offering a more personal, conversational experience that consistently drives higher engagement. There is an additional cost for this feature.

What it is

Broadcasts let you send one message to many recipients at once. From one screen, you can choose Email or Mobile (SMS), personalize with {user} for first‑name, schedule delivery, and keep a permanent record of every send, on brand and privacy‑safe.

Why this matters

  • Save time: One message to thousands without manual copy‑paste.

  • Boost engagement: Personalize with names so each note feels one‑to‑one.

  • Protect privacy: Sends, and replies, live inside Delphi.

  • Track impact: See history, status, and recipient counts to learn and improve.

  • Drive outcomes: Use Broadcasts to upsell, tighten community, and nudge events/memberships at the right moment.

Quick Start

  1. Open Broadcasts.

  2. Create Broadcast → give it a clear name (e.g., 2025‑06‑25 | July Newsletter).

  3. Pick a channel: Email or Mobile (SMS).

  4. Choose recipients: Entire audience, Tagged groups, or Specific users; optionally exclude tags/users.

  5. For Email only: set Reply‑To (keep [email protected] or use your support email).

  6. Write the message: short subject (email), body text (use {user} for first name), and attach files if needed.

  7. Send or schedule: Send Now or Schedule a date/time.

  8. Confirm: Review channel, recipient count, and schedule → Confirm. Entry appears in the table as Sent or Scheduled.

You can also save as Draft and return later.

Broadcast Management

Keep every send organized and searchable so nothing gets lost.

You’ll see

  • A table with name, progress, recipients, and status (Draft / Scheduled / Sent).

Do this

  • Search by name (magnifying glass).

  • Sort columns (click the three dots next to header).

  • Open details (click a sent broadcast to read the exact message, settings, and analytics).

  • Edit drafts (open, change, resave or send).

  • Delete safely (trash → Delete).

  • Track scheduled sends (Progress shows Scheduled until delivery completes).

Tips: Adopt a naming pattern; use drafts for review; clean up old drafts monthly.

Best practices (to drive outcomes)

Name consistently

  • Use YYYY‑MM‑DD | Topic so teams can filter by date and scan intent.

Lead with value

  • First line = benefit ("You’re invited to tomorrow’s mentor Q&A").

  • Keep it concrete ("Save 20% on your next course" > "exciting news").

  • Match channel length: punchy for mobile; slightly longer for email.

  • Echo the benefit in the CTA.

Aim each send

  • Upsell: target tagged buyers with a simple, time‑bound offer.

  • Tighten community: nudge check‑ins, share wins, highlight member stories.

  • Events & memberships: reminders, last‑call nudges, and welcome/onboarding touches.

FAQs

  • Why do the SMS and WhatsApp options appear greyed out when I create a broadcast? Mobile channels unlock only after you add the Mobile Messaging Add-On. Click the link in the broadcasts page to upgrade and complete the purchase.

  • How does SMS broadcast pricing work? The cost of broadcasting will vary based on the number of broadcasts you plan to send each month and the size of the audience you want to reach. Pricing is structured around a flat fee per segment, and each broadcast consists of three segments on average. If you're interested in moving forward with broadcasting, feel free to provide details about your expected volume and audience size. Once we have that information, we can calculate and offer you a fixed monthly price.
