Applying Your Analytics
Understanding which analytics are available is one thing—using them effectively is another. This section breaks down each metric, detailing what it measures, where to find it, and how to leverage it to optimize your Delphi’s performance.
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure the total time spent creating, training, and refining your Delphi. This reflects your level of investment in shaping its knowledge, responses, and overall effectiveness.
📍 Where to Find It: Go to the Insights tab → Activity → “Time Created” in the top left
🎯 How to Apply It:
Low time spent, high engagement? Consider adding more content or fine-tuning responses to guarantee quality, since many people are actively using your Delphi.
High time spent, low engagement? Shift your focus to promotion—share your Delphi on social media, embed it on your site, or introduce it to your audience. Gather user feedback to understand what they need, then refine it based on real interactions rather than making blind adjustments.
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure the number of user messages that your Delphi did not respond to. High numbers may indicate gaps in your Delphi’s knowledge, restricted topics, or content limitations.
📍 Where to Find It: Go to Insights → Activity → “Messages Unanswered” box.
🎯 How to Apply This Insight
High unanswered messages? Check if they are due to missing content, restricted topics, or confusing user questions. Make sure to go back and respond to them in a timely manner to maintain engagement and improve user experience.
Low unanswered messages? This suggests your Delphi is well-trained and effectively engaging users. Keep monitoring to maintain responsiveness.
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure the total number of messages sent by your Delphi and received from users. This helps you understand overall engagement levels and how actively users are interacting with your Delphi.
📍 Where to Find It:
Messages sent by your Delphi: Go to Insights → Activity → “Messages Answered” box
Messages sent + received: Go to Insights → Activity → Messages Chart
💡 Pro Tip: You can adjust the view to show data from the last 24 hours, 7 days (default), 30 days, 3 months, or 12 months by toggling between them at the top of the screen.
🎯 How to Apply This Insight:
High message volume? Strong engagement—use it to identify trends and popular questions.
Low message volume? Consider promoting your Delphi on social media, embedding it on your site, or encouraging existing users to engage more.
Disproportionate sent vs. received messages? If your Delphi is sending significantly more messages than it’s receiving, users may not be engaging in back-and-forth conversations—especially in the case of broadcasts or automated actions (in ongoing conversations, message volume is usually balanced, so a large discrepancy may indicate a need for adjustment in these areas particularly). Refine these forms of communication to encourage more interaction.
Fluctuating message volume? Track patterns over time to see how updates, promotions, or content changes impact engagement.
Compare this against your other engagement channels: Evaluate this against channels such as your social media, course, or newsletter—to gauge how much value users are getting from Delphi versus other platforms.
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure the total number of unique conversations started with your Delphi. This helps you understand how often users initiate new interactions and provides insight into overall engagement trends.
📍 Where to Find It: Go to Insights → Activity → Chart visual (default view is on Messages) → Toggle to “Conversations” tab.
💡 Pro Tip: You can adjust the view to show data from the last 24 hours, 7 days (default), 30 days, 3 months, or 12 months by toggling between them at the top of the screen.
🎯 How to Apply This Insight:
High conversation volume? This indicates strong user interest and desire to categorize conversations—analyze what’s driving new interactions and how users are grouping content into different conversations.
Low conversation volume? Users may not be consistently interacting with your Delphi enough to justify starting new conversations. Push active users to interact with your Delphi in new ways so they make the most out of it.
Fluctuating conversation trends? Compare spikes or dips with updates you’ve made, promotions, or content changes to understand what influences user behavior.
Compare this against your other engagement channels: Evaluate this against channels such as your social media, course, or newsletter—to gauge how much value users are getting from Delphi versus other platforms.
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure the number of unique users interacting with your Delphi within a given time frame. This helps you track audience engagement, identify growth trends, and assess the impact of your outreach efforts.
📍 Where to Find It: Go to Insights → Activity → Chart visual (default view is on Messages) → Toggle to “Users” tab.
💡 Pro Tip: You can adjust the view to show data from the last 24 hours, 7 days (default), 30 days, 3 months, or 12 months by toggling between them at the top of the screen.

📍 Where to Find It: Go to Insights → Activity → Scroll to the bottom → “Interactions by Medium” (bar chart displaying access sources).
🎯 How to Apply This Insight:
Most traffic from one source? Focus on optimizing that platform for better engagement.
Low engagement on certain channels? Consider improving visibility, usability, or promotion efforts there.
Diverse access points? Ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms to maximize engagement.
Understand audience preferences: This data helps you identify which mediums your users prefer, allowing you to refine your communication strategies across other platforms (e.g., social media, email, or community spaces).
🔍 What You Can Measure: You can measure how users interact with different instances of your Delphi, such as your main clone, a customer support version, or any other specialized instance. This helps you understand which versions are getting the most engagement.
💡 Note: If you’re unsure what instances are, see this webpage.
📍 Where to Find It: Go to Insights → Activity → Scroll to the bottom → “Interactions by Instance”
🎯 How to Apply This Insight:
One instance is dominating? Consider why it’s more engaging—apply those insights to other instances or double down on this one to further optimize and enhance its impact.
Some instances have low interaction? Reevaluate their purpose, visibility, or relevance to your audience.
Balanced engagement across instances? Ensure each instance is optimized for its specific use case to maintain a strong user experience, or consider consolidating instances to focus engagement on a single, hyper-optimized Delphi.
