Feeds

Keep trusted sources in sync so new posts become training data automatically.

What it is

The Feeds page tracks every source you keep in sync. It shows what’s connected, when it last synced, and lets you manage each feed.

Key features

  • See each feed’s Name, Source icon (X, YouTube, Podcast, RSS, Notion, Google Drive, Slack), and Last synced.

  • Add new feeds with Command+K: Podcast series, YouTube channel, X profile, or RSS.

  • Open Settings (⋯) to review details.

  • Delete a feed to stop future syncs (trained items remain).

  • Find new items in Mind → Content after they train.

Best practice: Keep only trusted, active sources synced. After each sync, spot‑check new items in Content and adjust Access and Publish Date in bulk.

How to use Feeds

1) Open Feeds

  • Go to Mind → Feeds.

  • Scan Name, Source, and Last synced.

2) Read the table

  • Source icon shows where it comes from (X, YouTube, Podcast, RSS, Notion, Drive, Slack).

  • Last synced shows the most recent successful sync.

  • Use the to the right of any feed → Settings (drawer shows Name, Type, and Source URL).

3) Add a new feed (Command+K)

Choose a source and add it:

  • Podcast series: Search the show → Add.

  • YouTube channel: Paste channel URL → Add.

  • X profile: Paste profile URL → Add.

  • RSS: Paste feed URL → Add.

    • Important: Delphi doesn’t sync arbitrary websites; sync happens via RSS only.

    • What sync does: Pulls new posts that appear after you add the feed.

    • What sync doesn’t do: It doesn’t track edits to existing pages and doesn’t monitor non‑RSS site URLs.

    • No RSS? Use Mind → Add Content → Websites to Scrape Links or upload a CSV for a one‑time import. Re‑run later to catch updates.

4) Connect Notion, Google Drive, or Slack

You cannot connect Notion, Drive, or Slack from Feeds directly. Instead:

  • Go to Mind → Add Content.

  • Connect Notion, Google Drive, or Slack.

  • Enable Keep synced.

  • After setup, those synced sources appear on Feeds.

5) Check “Last synced”

  • Return to Feeds and verify Last synced updated.

  • If it looks stale, open Settings and re‑auth if prompted.

6) Delete a feed

  • Click to the right of any feed → Delete.

  • Confirm Delete.

  • Past items remain in your Content table.

7) Review newly synced items

  • Go to Mind → Content.

  • Filter by Type (RSS, YouTube, Podcast, X, Notion, Drive, Slack).

  • Sort by Updated to verify the latest items are training your Delphi.

FAQs

  • How do I auto‑import new videos or posts? Add a YouTube channel, Podcast series, X profile, or an RSS feed.

  • Why aren’t new videos showing up? Feeds only pull items after you add them; check Last synced and re‑auth if needed.

  • Why won’t my YouTube playlist sync? Playlists don’t sync; channels do.

  • How do I stop syncing but keep past items? Delete the feed; trained items remain in Content.

  • How do I reconnect Notion, Drive, or Slack? Use Mind → Add Content and re‑enable Keep synced.

  • Can I add an RSS feed for my blog? Yes—paste the RSS URL under Add feed.

Troubleshooting

  • Feed says “stale.” Re‑auth in Settings; confirm the source still publishes.

  • Duplicates appearing. Check if you added overlapping sources (e.g., RSS + YouTube for the same items); keep only one.

  • Wrong access on new items. After a sync, bulk‑edit Access Group and Publish Date in Content.

  • No RSS available. Use Scrape Links as a one‑time import and repeat when new posts publish.
