Send one‑off email invitations and turn contacts into conversations.

What it is

Sends email invitations that create a new record in your Audience and mark the contact as Invited until they interact. When an invitee sends their first message, they automatically switch to Active.

Best practice: Follow up 3–5 days later with a short, personal note explaining why engaging with your Delphi will help them.

Quick Start (60 seconds)

  1. Click Invite on the Audience page.

  2. Type an email addressEnter or + to add it.

  3. Repeat for more addresses (remove any user with ×).

  4. Click Send Invites (button count matches email total).

  5. Watch new rows appear with status Invited.


How to invite users (single & multi)

Single invite

  • Open Add users → enter one email → Send User Invite.

Need more than a handful? Consider importing a list via your CRM Sync or using Bulk Actions to manage tags/segments after invites are sent.

Multiple invites at once

  • To invite users in bulk using CSV, you must be on Scalar or above

  • Open Add users → upload a CSV

    • Include the following headers in your CSV: email, name, and tags.

    • Email is the only required field and tags should be comma-separated.


Manage & monitor

  • Statuses: Invited → (first message) → Active.

  • Find invitees: Filter Status = Invited or Messages = 0.

  • Resend: Add users → add their email → Send User Invite.

  • Correct an email: If an email is wrong before sending, click × to remove. After sending, delete the row or add a Note and re‑invite with the correct address.


Best practices

  • Personalize the follow‑up: “Here’s why this will help you today…” beats a generic nudge.

  • Tag by intent: Add tags like Lead‑Coaching, Cohort‑Oct‑2025 to invited users for easier tracking.

  • Respect consent: Only invite people who opted in or have a clear relationship with you.

  • Stagger sends: If you’re inviting many, send in waves so you can respond thoughtfully.


FAQs

  • Can I invite a whole list at once? Yes, paste multiple emails into the field; each becomes an email chip. For larger lists, use CRM Sync to import then engage.

  • Where do I see who accepted? Filter Active or Messages > 0; the Last Active column shows recency.

  • Can I resend invites? To resend an email, just invite the user's email again. They'll receive another email allowing them to interact with the Delphi then. .

  • What if I typed the wrong email? Remove the email chip before sending. If already sent, delete/annotate the row and send a fresh invite to the correct address.

  • Can I customize the subject or body of the invitation email? No, you cannot customize the subject or body of the invitation email. The invite uses Delphi’s default template, which includes your Delphi’s name and a direct link to start chatting.

  • What is the complete list of ways I can invite users to my Delphi? There are exactly four supported invite paths:

    1. Email invites — use the Add Users button to send one-off emails that add people as Invited contacts.

    2. Publish & share your Delphi link — make your delphi.ai/your-handle URL public and drop it anywhere (newsletters, social, QR codes).

    3. Embed Delphi — insert the widget or iframe in your website, LMS, or community hub so visitors can start chatting in place.

    4. Integrations — connect channels like Slack to let users interact with your Delphi inside the tools they already use.

  • What if the email I entered already exists in my Audience? Delphi will re-send an email to their address.


Troubleshooting

  • “Send Invites” disabled? Ensure at least one valid email is chipped.

  • No email received? Ask the contact to check spam/promotions; confirm the address and resend.

  • Duplicates? Audience will show one row per email; merge or delete the extra if needed.
