SMS Broadcasts

Your Delphi Clone can be the foundation of your Mass SMS strategy. Send out blast SMS to your contact list and have your Clone take over the conversation.

If you have an existing Mass SMS strategy, importing your phone number, contact list and tags is simple. Please reach out to [email protected] to get set up. If you want to begin from scratch, we have customizable plans available.

Sending a Blast SMS

To send out a blast text to your audience, navigate to the Engage tab and select Broadcasts on the left. Click Then click Create New in the top right.

You will be presented with a template to start a broadcast. Select Mobile as the medium and give the SMS blast a name so it can be identified later. If you want to include your WhatsApp contacts in the message, select the option at the bottom.

• Select the audience for your email. This can be the entire distribution, users with specific tags, or a list of individuals.
• If you want to exclude specific tags or individuals, add them to the exclude line. If a group or individual is not included in the To: field, an email will not be sent to them.
• You can add a personalization tag by selecting { } at the bottom of the page. This will address each recipient by first name when applicable.

User Tagging and Auto Replies

Want to tag users into groups based on topics mentioned from conversations with your Clone? Go to Alerts within the Engage tab and select Add Alert in the top right corner.

• Set the topic or keyword that triggers the tag.
• Under Actions, make sure Tag User is selected. You can also activate email notifications for the alert and set an autoresponse for that particular tag. Set the desired autoresponse for the tag and the bottom of the frame.
• Give the tag a name and select Create Tag. If editing an existing tag, select the tag from the dropdown.

Schedule for Later

To schedule an email for later, select your preferred date and time. This lets you plan emails for the upcoming week or month.

Turning Off Clone Responses

You can turn off Clone responses. Users can reply to your blast SMS, but the Clone won’t engage with their responses.

To adjust this setting, go to the Integrate tab and select Phone Integrations. Click into the number card to edit the settings.

Toggle Pause Clone Responses on.

WhatsApp Templates

To send Broadcasts to your audience over WhatsApp, you must use a Meta approved template. Learn more here about how to make a valid template.

Viewing Responses

Want to see responses to your blast SMS? Go to the Audience page within Engage to view individual level conversations.

Manually Responding to Users

Within the Audience page, you can take over a conversation and manually respond to users. At the bottom, type your message and send using the arrow icon on the right.
