Purpose and Style
The purpose and style are how you provide your Clone with direction and personality. This is a critical step in providing additional layers of usefulness and personalization.
Purpose – The Purpose is the North Star for your Clone, determining its quality and functionality. It directs the conversation and sets the manner in which the Clone should operate.
Delphi will automatically generate a Purpose for your Clone based on your topics of expertise, bio, and intended use for the Clone selected during onboarding. Feel free to add to your Purpose to give it further direction. If during the Clone refinement process you want to give the Clone more specific direction when interacting with users, make adjustments to the Purpose.
Style – Formerly called ‘Tone,’ Style determines the demeanor and diction of your Clone. It is obtained by selecting pieces of content that you have used to train your Clone as reference documents for how the Clone should speak and interact. If you would like your Clone to have a more formal method of communicating with users, select documents like books and articles. If you prefer a more conversational style, utilize podcasts or videos.
