Slack Workspace Concierge

Bring Delphi into channels so people get help without leaving the workspace.

Outcome at a glance

Who it’s for: Teams, communities, courses already active in Slack. What you’ll achieve: In‑channel Q&A with configurable tone and behavior, plus light automations for check‑ins and wins. Time to first win: 30–60 minutes.

Why it matters

  • In‑context help: No tab‑hopping; faster answers where work happens.

  • Consistent voice: Configure Purpose, Response Length, Creativity, and No‑Answer for Slack.

  • Habit‑building: Weekly nudges keep channels lively.

What you’ll set up

  • Integrations → Messaging & Community → Slack (request access - approved by Delphi team → connect workspace).

  • Configurations (Purpose, Response Length, Creativity, Citations, Message on No Answer).

  • Access Groups (Insiders/Public as needed).

  • (Optional) Actions for check‑ins and tagging champions.

Build → Launch → Operate

Build (15–25 min)

  1. Request access and complete setup: Integrations → Messaging & Community → Slack.

  2. Connect workspace: Integrations → Slack → Connect workspace; authorize.

  3. Configure behavior: Purpose, Response Length, Creativity, Citations, Message on No Answer.

Launch (10–15 min)

  1. Announce the new assistant in a channel with a starter list (5 suggested questions).

  2. Add a short guide message pinned to the channel (what it’s great for; what it doesn’t do).

Operate (weekly, 15–20 min)

  1. Conversations → Review & Revise; add missing snippets to Mind.

  2. Action (wins): Recurring Schedule (7d) → post a #wins prompt; tag Champions.

  3. Action (onboarding): Conversation Ended for first‑timers → DM a quick “how to get the most out of this.”

Recipes (copy → tailor)

Channel starter list

  • “Explain [concept] in 3 steps.”

  • “Where do I start with [topic]?”

  • “What mistakes should I avoid this week?”

  • “Give me a checklist for [task].”

  • “Summarize yesterday’s stand‑up with next steps.”

Onboarding DM sequence

  • Trigger: Conversation Ended (first‑time user)

  • Action: Send Message (User) — “Here’s how to get quick, high‑quality answers in this channel: ask a single question, share context, and try these starters: [list].”

Weekly #wins prompt

  • Trigger: Recurring Schedule (7d)

  • Action: Send Message (Channel/User) — “Share one win from this week, big or small. Need ideas? Try: process you improved, lesson learned, or a customer note.”

  • Optional: Update Tag → add Champions to people who post.

Metrics to watch

  • Channel replies per week

  • Return rate (7‑day)

  • Unanswered → revised trend

  • #wins participation

Troubleshooting

  • Conversations feel off‑tone → tighten Purpose/Style and set Response Length: Concise for Slack.

  • Low engagement → refresh starter list; schedule the weekly #wins Action earlier in the week.

  • Missed expectations → pin a short scope note to the channel and update Message on No Answer.
