Build (30–40 min)

  1. Create Core Alerts:

    • Recruiter Interest: Detects questions about skills or experience. “If someone asks about my skills, background, or experience, tag as Recruiter Interest and notify me.”

    • Hiring Intent: Catches direct availability or job-offer signals. “If someone asks about availability, open roles, or joining their team, tag as Hiring Intent and send résumé pack.”

    • Portfolio Inquiry: Captures requests for samples or proof of work. “If someone asks to see examples or case studies, tag as Portfolio Inquiry and send my portfolio.”

    • Client Inquiry: Detects freelance or consulting opportunities. “If someone mentions a project or freelance help, tag as Client Inquiry and send overview message.”

    • Advisor / Investor Interest: Flags partnership or advisory opportunities. “If someone mentions investing, raising, or advising, tag as Advisor/Investor Lead.”

  2. Set Up Actions:

    • When Alert fires → Add Tag (User).

    • For Hiring Intent → Send résumé pack automatically.

    • For Recruiter Interest → Notify you via Slack or email.

    • For Client Inquiry → Send a polite “Tell me more” message.

  3. Notifications: Configure your preferred channel (Slack, Email, CRM webhook) for alerts tagged Recruiter Interest or Hiring Intent.

Launch (10–15 min)

  • Test each alert manually by typing questions like “Can you walk me through your skills?” or “Are you open to freelance projects?”

  • Verify tags apply correctly and notifications fire.

  • Confirm follow-up messages send automatically for Hiring Intent and Portfolio Inquiry.

  • Add these tags to your dashboard filters for easy monitoring.

Operate (Weekly, 15–20 min)

  • Review Alert Log: Identify which phrasing most often triggers alerts; add natural variants (“walk me through,” “show examples,” etc.).

  • Refine Tags: Merge or rename if overlap occurs (Recruiter InterestHiring, Client InquiryPartnership).

  • Follow Up Quickly: Use tagged lists to prioritize outreach.

  • Update Messaging: Refresh résumé or links inside Actions monthly.

Metrics to Watch

  • Conversion Rate: % of recruiter tags that lead to follow-ups or interviews.

Troubleshooting

  • Too many false positives: Add more context or qualifiers (“only if user mentions hiring or availability”).

  • Duplicate tags: Consolidate similar tags weekly.

  • Alerts not firing: Check log history; verify phrasing uses natural language, not formal keyword style.

Pre-Flight Checklist

  • 5 key alerts created (Recruiter Interest, Hiring Intent, Portfolio Inquiry, Client Inquiry, Advisor/Investor Lead).

  • Actions configured (tag, notify, send résumé).

  • Notifications connected (Slack or Email).

  • Tags added to dashboard filters.

  • Weekly review routine scheduled.

In Practice

Your Delphi now acts as your career radar — recognizing recruiters and clients the moment they start asking meaningful questions. Tags segment your opportunities automatically, and follow-up messages keep conversations alive even while you’re offline.

“If someone asks about my experience or skills, tag them as Recruiter Interest and notify me.” “If they ask about availability, tag as Hiring Intent and send résumé automatically.”

That’s Delphi acting as your silent agent — qualifying leads, responding gracefully, and ensuring you never miss the moment that matters.
