Editing Live Actions

Learn how to pause, edit, or retire live Actions without disrupting existing automations.

Overview

A live Action keeps firing until you tell it otherwise. The three core controls you have are:

Control
When to use it
What happens

Copy tweaks, trigger changes, schedule updates

New settings apply instantly to all future executions

Disable

Temporary pause during campaigns, bug fixes, or seasonal downtime

Status dot turns red; flow stops but stays on the dashboard

Enable

Bring a disabled flow back online

Status dot flips back to green; flow resumes

Delete

Retire an Action forever

Flow and history are removed—cannot be undone

Go to the Actions Dashboard to edit the status of yoru action if you're wondering...

  • How do I temporarily pause an action without deleting it?

  • Why is my action's status dot red, and how do I make it green again?

  • What's the difference between disabling and deleting a flow?

  • Can I recover an Action once it's been deleted?

  • How do I turn my actions live again when I've disabled them?

✏️ How to Edit Live Actions

1

The dashboard lists every flow as a card with a colored status dot (green = active, red = disabled, grey = never run).

2

Disable (pause) the flow

On the card, click the 3 dots (⋮) menu → Disable Flow.

The green status dot turns red. The Action will not fire until re-enabled.

3

Re-enable the flow

On the card, click the same 3 dots (⋮) menu → Enable Flow.

Red dot flips back to green and the Action resumes.

4

Delete the flow

On the card, click the same 3 dots (⋮) menu → Delete Flow.

The Action and all its data are removed permanently — this cannot be undone.
