Invite Users

Use the Invite button to add new contacts to your Audience with a single email—and track their status until they become active.

What it is

Sends one-off email invitations that create a new record in your Audience list and mark the contact as Invited until they interact.

Best practice: send a separate, personal reminder from your email 3-5 days later; include why the user will benefit from engaging with your Delphi.

✏️ How to invite users

Click Invite from the Audience page.

In the pop‑up field, type an email address. Press Enter or click the plus (+) icon to add it as a chip.

Repeat for additional addresses—each chip can be removed with x if you change your mind.

Review the blue Send Invites button; the number updates to match the email count.

Click Send Invites. Delphi immediately emails each contact and adds them to the table with status Invited.

Monitor engagement: when an invitee sends their first message, they automatically shift to Active.


FAQs / Troubleshooting

Can I customize the subject or body of the invitation email?

No, you cannot customize the subject or body of the invitation email. The invite uses Delphi’s default template, which includes your Delphi’s name and a direct link to start chatting.

What is the complete list of ways I can invite users to my Delphi?

There are exactly four supported invite paths:

  1. Email invites — use the Invite Users button to send one-off emails that add people as Invited contacts.

  2. Publish & share your Delphi link — make your delphi.ai/your-handle URL public and drop it anywhere (newsletters, social, QR codes).

  3. Embed Delphi — insert the widget or iframe in your website, LMS, or community hub so visitors can start chatting in place.

  4. Integrations — connect channels like Slack to let users interact with your Delphi inside the tools they already use.

What if the email I entered already exists in my Audience?

If the email you entered already exists in your Audience, whether they are invited or active users, Delphi will re-send an email to their address.

How do I resend an invitation?

To resend an email, just invite the user's email again. They'll receive another email allowing them to interact with the Delphi then.
